East Midlands Airport lit up the control tower last night as a tribute to key workers.
A spokesperson for East Midlands Airport said:
‘THANK YOU to everyone who is making a positive contribution at this difficult time.
‘To the key workers at our airport, handling vital supplies; to nurses and doctors on the NHS front line and in community care; to volunteers providing support and relief to those most in need. We applaud you.’
