Emergency services attend after lorry hits pedestrian at Clifton Co-op

Emergency services are on the scene after a collision between a lorry and a pedestrian in a supermarket car park.

The incident happened shortly before 9.30am today at the Co-op in Farnborough Road, Nottingham.

A woman in her 70s suffered a leg injury and is being treated at the scene.

Access to Farnborough Road is being restricted.

Sergeant David Sadler, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are currently working to understand exactly what happened and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.”
