Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service are dealing with two incidents.

NFRS: ‘We can now report that the fire is out however firefighters will be in attendance throughout the day to reinspect the building and to make sure there are no further hotspots of fire. An investigation into the cause will begin soon.’

10:30 pm update
NFRS –
‘We now have 10 fire engines in attendance at an old commercial premises in a residential area.
‘Crews are now working to get the fire under control, with thanks to our ALP, which has been able to tackle the fire from above.
‘We will soon be looking at scaling this incident down meaning we will have less fewer fire engines on scene as the fire is now under control.’
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said at 9 pm on Saturday 12 April:
‘We are currently dealing with two significant incidents.
‘We have 8 fire engines at a fire on Holgate Road in The Meadows, Nottingham. This is an industrial fire.
‘We then have a number of appliances at an incident on John Street, Worksop. This is a gas explosion.’
