No-one was hurt in the incident and crews rescued a cat.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘On Monday 31 October Arnold White Watch attended a house fire at Harwood Close in Arnold.
‘Crews from Arnold, Carlton, London Road and Stockhill attended the incident.
‘A cat was rescued by Arnold crews wearing Breathing Apparatus, thankfully no one was injured in the incident.
‘We would like to remind people that working smoke alarms save lives, and allow you to get out, stay out and call the Fire Service out in the event of a fire.’
