A northbound closure on Gordon Road is scheduled to begin on Monday 5 October as gas mains replacement works continue in West Bridgford.
The restriction is until Friday 16 October, covering the section from Gordon Road’s junction with Rectory Road / Tudor Square to a point 70 metres south.
The closure applies to northbound traffic and is scheduled to operate 24 hours a day during the stated dates.
However, the bulletin specifically says the Gordon Road and Rectory Road closures will not be in place at the same time. Although their published date ranges overlap, the restrictions are to operate separately.
The signed diversion for the Gordon Road closure is listed via Rectory Road, Musters Road, Melton Road and Burleigh Road.
The updated schedule also lists an eastbound closure on Rectory Road between Exchange Road and Central Avenue from Monday 28 September until Friday 9 October.
Exchange Road is listed as closed from its junction with Rectory Road for 30 metres south, from Tuesday 29 September until Friday 9 October.
The works are being carried out for Cadent Gas to replace gas mains. The wider programme runs from Monday 28 September until Friday 18 December, although individual road restrictions apply for the shorter periods set out in the bulletin.
Further restrictions are scheduled on Albert Road and Violet Road later in the programme.
Waiting, loading and unloading will be prohibited at all times on both sides of the whole length of Albert Road from Monday 19 October until Friday 13 November.
The same restrictions will apply along both sides of the whole length of Violet Road from Monday 2 November until Friday 20 November.
Temporary multi-way and two-way traffic lights will also be used as required on Albert Road, Violet Road, Abbey Road and Cyril Road, with arrangements signed on site.
