A dispersal order will be in place from 4pm on Thursday 30 October until 4pm on Saturday 1 November.
Police have issued a dispersal order for the Clifton town centre area.
A spokesperson said:
‘Officers have additional powers to direct people to leave a designated area for up to 48 hours if suspected to be involved in anti-social behaviour.
‘This is as a result of issues across Clifton during Halloween over the past couple of years.
‘Failure to comply with a direction to leave under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and
‘Policing Act 2014 is an offence which could result in arrest.
‘Please enjoy Halloween in a safe and responsible way.’
In 2024 dispersal orders were issued for parts of St Ann’s and Clifton because of incidents of fireworks being thrown.
