Hemisphere is proud to celebrate its first anniversary in the heart of West Bridgford, celebrating community, and fantastic food and drink on Central Avenue.
Since opening in October 2024, owners Paul and Rachel have been overwhelmed by the support of local guests and the loyal following that continues to grow week by week.
“Our guests love that we are fully independent, and many have shown unwavering support since day one,” they said. “We’ve really begun to feel embedded into the West Bridgford community and the market here. It’s been wonderful.”
Hemisphere offers a welcoming, relaxed dining experience for every occasion from morning coffee and breakfast through to late-night drinks. The venue is open all day, without closing between services, from 10am until 11pm.
The stylish bar area has become a local favourite for those seeking top-quality cocktails, while diners can enjoy an all-day menu featuring breakfast, brunch, lunch, tapas and a dedicated children’s selection. Their Sunday roasts are quickly becoming one of the area’s best-kept secrets.
Hemisphere aims to be West Bridgford’s go-to casual dining spot during the day and throughout the week, somewhere guests can relax, feel at home, and enjoy great food with friendly service. On Friday and Saturday nights, guests can dress to impress and make an evening of it. Smart or casual, everyone is welcome; the team simply wants guests to feel comfortable and well cared for.
Behind Hemisphere is a passionate and highly skilled team who have worked together for many years, developing a reputation for creativity, consistency and excellence in the kitchen. That same dedication now lies at the heart of the Hemisphere experience, from the food on the plate to the warm welcome at the door.
Despite its central location, the team regularly hears from locals who are only just discovering Hemisphere. With improved signage and enhanced entrance lighting being installed in the coming weeks, the venue hopes to welcome even more passers-by upstairs to see what they’ve been missing.
Adding to the celebrations, Hemisphere has also received significant industry recognition over the past year. The restaurant has been named a finalist in the Great Food Club Awards for Restaurant of the Year, celebrating the very best food and drink across the East Midlands. Hemisphere has also been voted a finalist for Nottinghamshire’s Best Restaurant in the Notts Bites Awards.
Most recently, the team is proud to have been shortlisted as finalists in the Nottingham Tourism Awards for the Taste of Nottinghamshire – Restaurant category. The winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony on 18th March 2026, held at Pride Park, marking another exciting milestone for the independent West Bridgford venue.

Adding even more flavour to the celebrations, Hemisphere will also be hosting an exciting Sushi Masterclass, delivered by Uramaki Sushi – the very same talented team behind the Hemisphere kitchen.
This immersive experience is perfect for food lovers looking to learn something new. Guests will get hands-on guidance, insider tips, and the chance to master the art of sushi-making in a fun, relaxed setting. Expect great food, expert instruction, and a welcoming atmosphere whether you’re a complete beginner or a confident home cook looking to level up.
