Police investigating an assault in Nottingham city centre have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was assaulted in Pelham Street in the early hours of Saturday 23 August.
Officers believe the man pictured in this image has vital information and have asked him to come forward.
PC James Hooper, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This was a nasty assault that resulted in the victim sustaining a head injury.
“Thankfully he survived the assault but the nature of the injury left him unable to work for over a month.
“We believe the pictured male has vital information and we are keen to speak to him about the incident.
“Our inquiries to trace him have so far been unsuccessful so we are now turning to the public for help. If you recognise him, please come forward as soon as possible.”
