Image released after man allegedly films woman in shop toilets

Police investigating a suspected incident of voyeurism in a shop want to track down this man.

The incident happened within the women’s toilets at Tesco, in High Road, Beeston, around 3.30pm on 19 June.

A female customer notified staff after a man reportedly slid his phone under a cubicle door so he could record her.

The same man also allegedly looked at her through a crack in the door before fleeing from the toilets and leaving the shop.

Police investigating the incident are now able to release an image of someone they’d like to speak to as part of their inquiries.

PC Chloe Row, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“The victim was understandably very distressed about what happened, so we’re determined to find the person responsible.

“On that note, we’ve identified the man in this picture as someone we strongly believe could have information that could assist our investigation.

“We’d therefore urge him to get in touch with the police if he sees this appeal, while we’d ask anyone that recognises him to do likewise.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 512 of 19 June 2025. You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
