Police are appealing for the public’s help after a man was attacked at a pub, leaving him with a broken jaw.
The 38-year-old victim was inside a pub in Carrington when an unknown man struck up a conversation with him.
During the conversation, the unknown person became irate and angry. Moments later, he grabbed the victim’s throat and pinned him against a wall in the pub’s outdoor smoking area, whilst punching him to the ribs and face.
The assault, on Thursday 28 March, left the victim with a broken jaw that required surgery.
Officers believe the man pictured in these images may be able to help them with their investigation.
Police Staff Investigator Jodie Ridgewell, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Since this incident, we have been doing everything we can to find the person responsible for this assault.
“We are really keen to speak to the man in these images as we believe he can assist with the investigation.
“If you recognise him, please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
