Police say they have created an incident from the report.
Police said:
‘Nottinghamshire Police have created an incident following a report from South Nottinghamshire Academy that three of their pupils, who were walking together, have raised concerns about the behaviour of the driver of a blue van in Radcliffe on Trent.
‘The pupils reported to academy staff that they thought the vehicle was following them at approximately 8am on the morning of 30 November and that the driver had stared at them at some point.
‘We do not have any further details of the vehicle and are mindful that there may be a reasonable explanation for this behaviour but would like to take this opportunity to remind both pupils and parents to be vigilant with regard to such circumstances.’
