Joint statement as QMC A&E faces ‘significant pressures’ in Nottingham

Our hospitals are under significant pressure and need your help to ensure we can focus on looking after the most poorly patients.

NUH has issued this plea to patients to spread the word.

Nottingham University Hospitals said:

‘Can you please help us to share this message?

‘We are currently seeing extremely large volumes of people attending and waiting in our Emergency Department (A&E).

People with very serious or life-threatening health conditions, such as chest pain, severe bleeding or loss of consciousness, should still continue to phone 999 without delay.

The NHS 111 service is available by phone or online www.111.nhs.uk
