Nottingham Magistrates’ Court has granted a full closure order on a property in Ladybrook following ongoing concerns about drug use, drug dealing and persistent anti-social behaviour.
The order was issued on 23 January 2026 and prevents anyone from entering the property for the duration of the closure.
Police said the address had generated repeated reports from the local community. The property is located close to a children’s play area and housing for older residents.
The closure order is the third full order obtained by the Ladybrook policing team in the past year, alongside two partial closure orders. One of the partial orders was granted to protect an elderly resident whose home had been targeted by others involved in drug use through cuckooing.
Police said closure orders are used as part of wider efforts to disrupt criminal activity and reduce harm, and can also provide landlords with legal grounds to seek possession of properties linked to persistent problems.
