Nottinghamshire Police is assisting Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service as they work to extinguish a fire in an industrial unit near Langar Airfield.
Residents in the area are advised to stay indoors and keep their windows and doors closed until the situation has reached a safe conclusion.
West Bridgford neighbourhood policing team is assisting with a large fire incident at Langar.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 2:43pm following reports of a fire. Crews from Newark, Melton Mowbray, London Road, Highfields, East Leake, Stockhill, Southwell, Bingham along with three water carriers from Worksop, Loughborough and Clay Cross are currently in attendance.
