Man airlifted to hospital seriously injured in incident outside Radcliffe-on-Trent pub

Police are appealing for information after a man was found with serious head injuries in a pub car park in Radcliffe-on-Trent.

Emergency services were called to the Manvers Arms, on Main Road, at 6.35pm on Friday 1 May, following reports that a group of people were fighting.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was found unconscious in the car park at the rear of the pub.

He was airlifted to hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening. Police said he has since been discharged from hospital and continues to be supported by officers.

Investigators are now asking anyone with information, or relevant CCTV, mobile phone, doorbell or dashcam footage, to come forward.

Detective Constable Victoria Katilu said: “The victim has suffered serious injuries and we know what has happened will have a deep impact on him.

“Officers are working hard to understand exactly what happened in the moments before, during, and after the incident and have a number of leads to follow.

“The pub is likely to have been busy on a Friday evening ahead of a bank holiday weekend, so we believe there will be people with information who have not yet spoken to an officer.

“If you can help the investigation, please get in touch without delay.”

Anyone who can assist should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 630 of 1 May 2026, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
