A 31-year-old man has been charged with sexual assault and indecent exposure following two separate incidents.
A man was said to have inappropriately touched a woman in Wyton Close, Bestwood, on 4 June.
The second incident happened in Alfreton Road, in Nottingham city centre on 21 July, where neighbours chased a man away after he exposed himself to a young boy sat outside a house.
The man from, The Meadows area of Nottingham, has been charged with both offences.
He appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (28 July) and was remanded in custody. His next court appearance will be on 18 August.
Detective Sergeant Stuart Barson, of Nottinghamshire’s public protection team, said: “We take these incidents extremely seriously and our local neighbourhood teams immediately increased patrols in the areas and officers spoke with residents during door-to-door enquiries.
“We’d like to thank those that contacted us about these incidents and we ask anyone who suffers an experience like this to report it to us so we can bring offenders to account.”
