Man charged with West Bridgford burglaries

A man has been charged with burglaries in Gordon Road and Blake Road.

A 41-year-old man is due in court charged with three burglaries.

The man from Sneinton, has also been charged with theft of a motor vehicle and possession of cannabis and has been remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (Monday).

One of the burglary charges relates to a break-in where a car was taken after car keys were stolen from a house in Gordon Road, West Bridgford, at around 1.30am on Saturday (11 September).

The other burglaries were in Blake Road, West Bridgford, just before 11pm on Friday night, and another in Westwood Road, Sneinton, also carried out on September 10.

Detective Sergeant John Kerry, from Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers have acted quickly to put a man before the courts within days of the offences taking place.
