A 27-year-old man appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday charged with robbery.
Sean Fay, of Nuthall, is charged with robbery in connection with an incident that happened in Poplar Crescent, Nuthall, at around 8.10 pm on Thursday 26 March.
It was reported that a man with a knife had appeared from a bush and demanded that two women walking by hand over their phones and bags. A mobile phone and a handbag containing a purse were taken.
No one was injured in the incident.

Fay has been remanded on Saturday 28th March 2020 pending his next court appearance on 27 April 2020.
