A man has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Nottingham city centre.
The incident happened outside a restaurant in Milton Street at around 5pm this evening (Thursday).
The injured man has been taken by ambulance to Queen’s Medical Centre. The extent of his injuries are not yet known.
Inspector Tim Ringer, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a shocking incident that would have been witnessed by many people.
“We are currently looking for the people we believe were responsible and are appealing for witnesses to come forward to help us understand what happened.
