A man has suffered a bleed on the brain and remains in Queen’s Medical Centre after being kidnapped and beaten up in a car.
Nottinghamshire Police was initially called after a man went for a walk and was bundled into a vehicle, threatened with a knife and assaulted.
Detective Inspector Chanelle Whitney is leading the investigation. She said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim and we are working around the clock to establish the circumstances.

“He has suffered injuries to his face, ear and gums, as well as suffering a bleed on the brain. Thankfully his injuries aren’t being considered life threatening.
