The incident happened in the city centre this morning 29 October.
Police said: “A number of arrests have been made following a fight in Nottingham city centre.
“Officers were called to the junction of Milton Street and Shakespeare Street at around 4.30am today (29 October 2022) following reports of a disturbance.”
“A man was taken to hospital with injuries which are believed to be life-altering.”
