Four people were arrested after police were called to break up a fight in the street.
Officers were called to an address in Collymore Leys Lane, Clifton, shortly before 1.30am this morning to reports that two men were fighting.
Two men and a woman were later treated in hospital for injuries – the men for broken jaws.
A 50-year-old man, a 37-year-old man and a 44 –year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of affray. A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of class A drugs.
Detective Sergeant Louise Bradford said: “This kind of violence is completely unacceptable and we are determined to establish exactly what happened during this altercation. If you witnessed this incident we’d like to hear from you. Please call us on 101 quoting incident 64 of 15 November.”
