Western Power Distribution confirm that the failure happened at around 10 am on Friday 12 February.
Post codes affected are NG11Â 9HX, NG11Â 9LE, NG11Â 9HT, NG11Â 9LF, NG11Â 9LB, NG11Â 9LD, NG11Â 9HW, NG11Â 9HY, NG11Â 8EA
136 homes and businesses are affected.

Western Power Distribution said:
‘We are aware of this power cut incident which was raised at 9:57am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible.
‘We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.’
They say they estimate power will be restored by 1 pm Friday 12 February.
