Motorcyclist dies after collision on A52 Clifton Boulevard

A motorcyclist has died after a single-vehicle collision on the A52 Clifton Boulevard in Nottingham.

The rider, a man aged in his 20s, was treated at the scene following the incident which happened shortly before 10am on Sunday (31 March 2024).

He was taken to hospital where he sadly died later that morning.

The man’s family are being supported by specially-trained officers.

Nottinghamshire Police closed the road following the incident. It reopened at around 4.30pm on Sunday.

Investigator Jo Rigby, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a tragic incident that led to a young man’s death. Our thoughts remain with his family, friends, and all who knew him.”

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has any information which could help police with their inquiries is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 150 of 31 March 2024.
