New Spring energy boost programme for women launches in West Bridgford

West Bridgford women Maria Hastings, yoga and mindfulness teacher, and Anita Jones, personal trainer, have combined their expertise to design a new Saturday morning online exercise programme.

It’s specifically for anyone new to training or anyone who just wants to have a kick start before shedding their winter layers.

Their four-week course brings together the power of yoga to stretch the body and quieten the mind with the feel-good jump start that interval training gives to our heart and muscles.

Designed as a gentle Spring awakening rather than an intense bootcamp, Maria says:

“Through our individual work with clients we’ve seen how difficult it is for people to take the first step to getting healthier, particularly if they’ve never been gym-goers or disliked sport at school.  We wanted to offer an exercise programme that’s simple and most importantly achievable. Something that improves their fitness and flexibility, gives them confidence in what they can do and inspires them to continue exercising beyond the classes”.

The first session starts at 9am on Saturday 6 March and runs for 45 minutes.  The introductory price is £25 for the four sessions and everyone receives a ‘how to’ welcome video showing them what to expect from the interval training element of the session.
