Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have been appointed as property consultant to Nottinghamshire Hospice, the vitally important charity which adds life to days for people who have been told their illness cannot be cured.
NG will deal with property-related matters across all of Nottinghamshire Hospice’s high street stores, as well as its care building on Woodborough Road, Nottingham.
Jude Weston, director at NG, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Nottinghamshire Hospice. This is an exciting instruction for us and we can’t wait to work with such a vital organisation.
“Nottinghamshire Hospice is rightly lauded for the work it does, and so to be able to contribute in any way to them continuing to provide such excellent care for local people is something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Nottinghamshire Hospice provides care for patients by helping to prevent hospital admissions, and supporting people to die at home surrounded by their loved ones.
Nottinghamshire Hospice is a registered charity and regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
Ross Henderson, Director of Income Generation at Nottinghamshire Hospice said: “We’re delighted to appoint NG Chartered Surveyors as our property consultant.
“Our buildings are vital to providing our care – the hospice itself where therapy and wellbeing support is provided and where our care coordinators are based, and our shops which generate income so we can provide our care, free of charge.
“The expertise provided by NG will help to ensure all Nottinghamshire Hospice properties are of a high standard, whilst minimising our costs and supporting our sustainability goals.
“This secures the Hospice’s future and means more of our income can be spent on helping us to care for families across the county.”
