Bus passengers across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire face another week of disruption from Monday 12 October, with continuing city centre congestion, road closures, gas works and overnight diversions affecting Nottingham City Transport (NCT) and trentbarton services.
NCT is warning of severe delays and short-notice cancellations across its network because of congestion caused by the demolition of the former NCP car park on Maid Marian Way.
Meanwhile, trentbarton has announced several additional disruptions, including temporary traffic lights in Tollerton, overnight road closures in Long Eaton and changes to services in West Bridgford.
The following restrictions and diversions are scheduled during the week of Monday 12 to Sunday 18 October.
Maid Marian Way demolition – ongoing
Demolition works on Maid Marian Way continue to affect traffic across Nottingham city centre, with temporary road layouts and traffic lights causing congestion on surrounding roads.
NCT says all its services are experiencing severe delays and short-notice cancellations.
