Nottingham Central Library will close for a day for work to replace a large window.
The damage to the second floor window of Nottingham Central Library was found on 16 August 2024 and work to make it safe was carried out the following day.
Nottingham City Council said traffic restrictions would be in place on Carrington Street while the work takes place on Monday.
The total cost of replacing the window, including labour costs and permits for traffic management on the day, will be £17,000.
A spokesperson said:
“Nottingham Central Library will close for the day on Monday 24 February for building maintenance reopening on Tuesday 25.
“We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused but the closure and traffic restrictions are needed to enable the work to be carried out quickly and safely.”
