Passengers across Nottingham are being advised to check their journeys carefully as a series of roadworks and emergency closures continue to affect bus services during the week commencing 23 February.
The most significant disruption continues on Bestwood Park Drive, where a phased programme of weekday closures is under way. Phase 1 runs until 24 February and is affecting services 79/A, 88 and 89/A. Phases 2 and 3 will follow from 25 February until 13 March, with service 88 continuing to be impacted.
In Arnold and the north of the city, an emergency closure of Woodborough Road remains in place until further notice, affecting services 60 and 61. Passengers using these routes are advised to allow extra time and check for diversion details.
Further disruption is expected on Sunday 23 February due to daytime closures of Sellers Wood Drive and Coventry Road. Services 35, 68/A, 69/A/B, 70/B and 71/B will all be affected.
Overnight closures of the A52 Derby Road from 23 February to 26 February will impact services 35/B and 36. In addition, Derby Road has been operating under a resumed one-way traffic flow since 20 January, affecting a wide range of services including 28, 30, 34/C, 35/A/B, 36/U, 48/X, 49/A/B/X, 53/B and 54/B.
Elsewhere, Linden Way near City Hospital remains closed until further notice, with services 40 and 40X diverted. In Netherfield, Private Road No. 1 is closed from 5 January to 13 March, affecting the 44A service.
Crossing works on Alfreton Road, which began on 19 January and are scheduled to continue until 31 March, are also impacting services 77, 78 and 79/A/B.
