Decathlon Nottingham – Giltbrook is excited to announce the grand re-opening of its newly refurbished store on Thursday, 23rd May 2024.

The opening weekend promises unmissable offers, thrilling sporting activities, and a special ‘cut the ribbon’ appearance by British gymnasts Becky and Ellie Downie. Customers can experience the expanded range of sporting goods, receive expert advice, and enjoy engaging activities designed to ignite their passion for sport.
To mark the official store reopening, the first 70 customers to enter Decathlon’s Nottingham store at 9am will receive £70 off their in store purchase.
To take advantage of the unmissable savings on the extensive range of sports available at Decathlon, shoppers will need to sign up to become a Decathlon member, and have their Decathlon Membership Account ready on the day. Customers can sign up to become a Decathlon member here.
Champion gymnasts and sisters Becky and Ellie Downie, will be making a special guest appearance on Thursday to open their renovated local store and meet and greet customers in the morning of the opening (9am).
Following the initial launch event, customers can enjoy a three-day opening weekend (Saturday 25th – Monday 27th May) packed with free fun activities including a climbing wall installed outside, crazy golf course, archery set-up to test your aim, a range of fitness classes tailored to all levels and abilities and football coaching and dynamic speed cage testing.
Decathlon’s Nottingham store has received a full revamp, with a complete update to the storefront and design, new tills installed and welcome desks to provide a better shopping experience and specialised displays to showcase the wide variety of sports housed under one roof.
The revamp forms part of Decathlon’s ambition to showcase the wonders of sport. New services including circularity hubs dedicated to repairing worn products, second-life products and renting services will be rolled out across the country to help break down barriers into sport and make sport accessible for all.
