Nottinghamshire weather for Saturday 18 July

Saturday 18 July is forecast to be cooler than recent days but still dry and bright, with sunny spells, some cloud at times and temperatures reaching around 21C during the afternoon.

The chance of rain remains below 5% throughout the day.

Early morning

Saturday will begin dry and fairly cool, with sunny spells at first before some cloud develops during the morning. Temperatures are expected to be around 13C at 5am and 6am, rising to 14C by 7am and 16C by 8am.

Winds will come from the north or north-north-east at around 4mph to 6mph. Gusts will increase from around 11mph early on to around 19mph by 8am.

Visibility will be good at first, becoming very good from around 6am. Humidity will be relatively high, starting at around 79% at 5am before easing to 66% by 8am. Rain is not expected.

Midday

Late morning and lunchtime will remain dry, with a mix of sunny spells and cloud. Temperatures are forecast to rise from 18C at 10am to 19C by 11am and remain around 19C at midday.

The “feels like” temperature will be slightly lower, around 17C to 18C. Winds will remain mainly from the north at around 6mph, with gusts reaching around 19mph to 22mph.

Visibility will stay very good, while humidity will fall to around 55% by midday. UV levels will become high, rising to 6 by 11am and 7 at midday, so sun protection is advisable for anyone spending time outdoors.

Afternoon

The afternoon is expected to be dry and bright, with sunny spells and some cloud around at times. Temperatures are forecast to reach 20C by 1pm and 2pm, then around 21C by 3pm and 4pm.

The “feels like” temperature will be around 18C to 20C during the afternoon. Winds will come from the north or north-north-east at around 6mph to 7mph, with gusts around 22mph.

Visibility will remain very good, and humidity will fall to around 40% by late afternoon. UV levels will remain moderate to high during the afternoon, reaching 6 at 1pm before easing later.

Evening

The evening will stay dry, with some sunny spells early on before clear conditions later.

Temperatures are expected to remain around 21C at 5pm and 6pm, before easing to 20C by 7pm and 8pm. It will become cooler later, falling to 18C by 9pm, 16C by 10pm and 15C by 11pm.

Winds will come from the north-north-east or north-east at around 3mph to 7mph, with gusts easing from around 22mph early in the evening to around 9mph by 11pm.

Visibility will remain very good throughout. Humidity will rise from around 40% during the early evening to 62% by 11pm. The chance of rain stays below 5% throughout.
