Early morning
The day begins grey and damp with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle affecting many areas.
Temperatures start around 6°C to 7°C with a gentle east to south-easterly breeze. Roads and pavements will be wet for the morning commute and visibility locally reduced at times.
Midday
Cloud remains dominant through late morning, with further patchy showers moving through.
Temperatures slowly rise to around 8°C or 9°C and winds strengthen slightly from the south-east. Conditions stay rather murky but brighter spells may begin to develop.
Afternoon
The afternoon turns brighter with occasional sunny intervals, although scattered showers continue to pass through at times.
Highs reach around 10°C making it noticeably milder than recent days. A light to moderate south-easterly wind persists and it should feel relatively pleasant between showers.
Evening
Into the evening, showers gradually become lighter and more isolated with longer dry periods developing.
Temperatures settle back to around 8°C or 9°C, falling slowly overnight while remaining mostly cloudy.
