After a generally dry, bright and cold start, skies will gradually turn cloudy through the day. Feeling cold into the afternoon. Outbreaks of rain arriving in Northern Ireland by the end of the day.
Tonight:
Rain will spread across Wales and southern England overnight turning heavy at times, particularly in the west. Drier in the north with some clear spells.
Monday:
Wet in the south at first, but rain will slowly clear in the morning. Staying cloudy in the south and fairly mild. Cold, dry and bright in the north.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Heavier rain spreads in from the south on Tuesday and Wednesday and it will turn warmer across the country. Cooler from Thursday with a few showers and sunny spells.
