Cloud thickens steadily and the chance of rain increases late morning. By midday, outbreaks of rain begin to develop, with temperatures around 12°C. Winds strengthen from the south-west at 16 to 17 mph, gusting into the low 30s mph, giving a blustery feel.
AFTERNOON
Rain becomes widespread and at times persistent through the afternoon, with probabilities rising to 70–90%. Temperatures hold around 12°C but it will feel cooler in the strengthening wind. South-westerly winds reach 16 to 17 mph with gusts of 31 to 33 mph.
