A wet and overcast day with frequent rain throughout, heaviest at times during the afternoon, before easing slightly later in the evening.

EARLY MORNING
Light rain is expected from the start of the day with a 70 to 80 percent chance of showers. Temperatures will sit around 6 to 7°C with light north-easterly winds near 4 to 5 mph and occasional gusts up to 10 mph. Conditions will feel damp and chilly.

MIDDAY
Cloudy skies continue with steady light rain. Temperatures slowly rise to around 8°C by late morning. Winds gradually turn north-north-westerly and then westerly at around 4 mph, remaining light with gusts up to 12 mph.

AFTERNOON
Rain becomes more persistent through the afternoon with a high probability of wet weather, reaching around 90 percent at times. Temperatures peak near 9°C. Winds shift southerly to south-south-easterly at about 6 mph with gusts up to 14 mph, maintaining a cool but unsettled feel.

EVENING
Rain continues into the evening though gradually easing later, with chances lowering to around 60 to 70 percent by late evening. Temperatures fall from 8°C to about 6 or 7°C overnight. Winds turn north-westerly to north-north-westerly at around 5 mph with gusts near 10 to 11 mph.
