Early morning
The day begins cloudy but mostly dry. Between 6am and 7am there is a small chance of a light shower, with rain probabilities around 40 per cent at 6am, dropping to 30 per cent by 7am. Temperatures are mild at around 10C, feeling closer to 7C in a south-south-westerly breeze of 13 to 14mph. Humidity is high, close to 88 per cent, and visibility remains very good. By 8am the risk of rain has fallen further and skies begin to brighten.
Midday
From 9am onwards the weather improves significantly, with long spells of sunshine developing. Temperatures sit at around 10C to 11C through late morning, feeling slightly cooler in a steady south-westerly wind of 13mph. Rain risk stays low, between 10 and 20 per cent, and visibility remains very good as humidity slowly drops into the mid-eighties. By midday temperatures reach around 11C, and the morning sunshine continues.
Afternoon
The early afternoon remains bright, with more sunny intervals and the mildest temperatures of the day. Between 1pm and 3pm temperatures reach around 12C, feeling near 10C in the breeze. Cloud cover increases slightly at times but the risk of rain stays low at around 10 per cent. Winds remain steady from the south-west at 12 to 13mph. Visibility continues to be very good and humidity falls to around 80 per cent, giving a fresher feel compared with earlier in the morning.
Evening
Cloud thickens gradually into the evening, though it remains dry for most of the early evening period. Between 4pm and 7pm temperatures gently fall back towards 10C or 11C, with only a small chance of rain. Winds ease slightly, remaining from the south or south-south-west at around 7 to 9mph. Rain becomes more likely later in the night, with a 40 per cent chance by 10pm and around 80 per cent by 11pm, signalling the arrival of a wetter spell heading into the early hours of Tuesday.
