No-one was hurt in the incident which happened on Sunday 30 October.
The car crashed into the library in Sandiacre.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘On Sunday 30 October Long Eaton and Ilkeston White Watch were called to a road traffic collision involving a car that had crashed into a building.
‘Fortunately, no one was injured, crews worked alongside Derbyshire Police and a council structural engineer to make the scene safe.’
