The former Alfresco café has reopened under new ownership.
The popular spot in Bridgford Park has reopened after former owner Maria Digisi decided to sell the business.
New owners, and friends of Maria and her family, are mum and daughters Nikki and Daisy Straw – they have redecorated and made a few menu changes too.
Little Green serves a range of coffees including oat and soy milk choices, a range of breakfasts and lunches – a new addition is freshly made salad boxes, and there’s a Mr Whippy ice-cream machine too!
Daisy told us: ‘We’re really excited about opening up the café and meeting people in West Bridgford. Thanks to Maria the place was well-loved and we want to continue that and look forward to getting established in the town.’
Maria told The Wire:
‘I feel so privileged to have worked in West Bridgford for the past twelve years.
‘The Alfresco Kiosk was our first venture and we have made many friends over the years and hope some will come and visit us at Alfresco Southwell.
‘We wish Nikki and Daisy the best of luck and hope West Bridgford will welcome and support them.’
The cafe opens Wednesday through Monday.
