As government guidelines allow non-essential retail stores to open today, Nottingham shoppers were out early waiting for the clothes retailer Primark to open its doors.
Opening time is 09:30 am.
In these pictures, taken at 8:30 am the queue begins at the doors, staff are on hand to monitor social distancing guidelines and to manage the line as it snakes around Long Row.
