Officers have now released CCTV images of five other men who they would like to trace in connection with the incident.

Detective Constable Gavin Harper, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a significant disturbance and we are determined to catch those responsible.

“We are working to establish the exact sequence of events and would like to speak with the five men seen in the CCTV images.

“We take incidents of disorder such as this very seriously. The use of violence is totally unacceptable and we will always look to take robust action against those who commit such offences.

“I would urge anyone with information that may assist our enquiries, or who recognises the men in the images, to call 101 quoting incident 214 of 27 July.”
