These images were taken this morning Friday 17 February show the damage to the building after yesterday’s blaze.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service remain at the scene this morning carrying out their investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
Nottinghamshire Police is also at the scene managing a cordon to support the site during the work.
The blaze began yesterday Thursday 16 Feburary – when the local doctor’s surgery opened at the same site adjacent to the hall, smoke was smelled and alarm raised.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire at the Rushcliffe village at around 11 am on Thursday 16 February.
An aerial ladder from Mansfield and crews from Arnold, Castle Donington, Highfields, London Road and West Bridgford were deployed.
There is fire damage to the whole of the building, which includes the library and GP surgery.
The incident was scaled down overnight with one fire engine from nearby East Leake Fire Station remaining there.
