Nottinghamshire County Council has launched an initial consultation regarding the installation of a new zebra crossing on Musters Road, West Bridgford.
The proposed crossing aims to improve pedestrian safety between Eton Road and Kingston Road/Devonshire Road, an area frequently used by pedestrians accessing nearby amenities including shops, bus stops, and a nursery.
The crossing will include a controlled area marked by zig-zag lines, ensuring a safe space for crossing and prohibiting parking and loading along the carriageway.
Via East Midlands Ltd, working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council, is leading the implementation of this highway improvement initiative.
The consultation phase provides an opportunity for residents, businesses, and other interested parties to share their views on the proposed crossing. Comments or suggested changes are welcomed and can be submitted until 23rd December 2024 via email or postal address provided in the consultation letter.
