There has been a sudden increase in deliberately started fires across Bramcote Park on Ilkeston Road.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘We’ve placed our joint police and fire drone team on standby.
‘They are able to quickly search the wooded area and fields, with high-powered cameras and inferred equipment.
‘This can not only help bring blazes under control, by directing our firefighters on the ground, but also recording and catching suspects.
