“We know this man was subject to a sustained and serious assault but currently do not know who he is or why he was targeted in this way.

“As we work to understand what happened here we are asking anyone with relevant information to come forward.

“We are also appealing directly for the victim to come forward so we can help him get the justice he deserves.

“We particularly want to hear from any witnesses who saw any kind of argument in the moments leading up this assault.

“Even the smallest piece of information may prove vital in this investigation.”
