Police call for dash cam footage and witnesses after Keyworth collision

Police investigating a road traffic collision in Keyworth are appealing for further witnesses to come forward.

Officers attended the junction of Bunny Lane and Keyworth Lane after receiving reports about a crash involving two cars.

One of the drivers required immediate medical assistance after sustaining injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering.

The driver of the other vehicle was arrested and later charged on suspicion of drink-driving, after failing a roadside breathalyser test.

Benjamin Bellamy, 20, of  Ruddington, has been bailed to appear before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 28 November.

Police are still in the process of investigating the collision, which happened around 8.20pm on 9 November, and are now appealing for further witnesses.

Officers particularly want to speak to any motorists who have dash-cam in their vehicles and were passing through the Bunny Lane area around the time of the collision.

PC Paul Pugsley, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“While thankfully nobody sustained serious injuries in this collision, we’re determined to establish the full facts about what happened.

“Our investigation is trying to determine whether there was any driving of a dangerous nature in this incident, so we therefore want to speak to anyone who witnessed it.

“Even more importantly than that, however, we want to hear from any motorists who may have recorded the collision on their on-board dash-cam and can share this footage with us.

“If you think that could be you, we’d ask that you please review your footage from around 8.20pm on 9 November.”

Anyone with information is asked to share it with the police by calling 101, quoting incident 613 of 9 November 2025, while Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
