Police executed a warrant at an address in St Ann’s where they recovered a quantity of cocaine, cannabis and a machete.
Officers forced their way into a property in Leighton Street just before 9am on Monday 22 December.
A search of the premises located a quantity of suspected cannabis and cocaine from a kitchen cupboard, cutting agent, and the remnants of a cannabis grow in the loft.
Mobile phones were also seized from the address.
Lewis Fermin, aged 28, of Leighton Street, has been arrested and charged with importing a Class A drug and possession with intent to supply a Class A and Class B drug.
Santiago Vilorio, aged 27, of no fixed address, has also been arrested and charged with concern in the supply of cocaine, and possession with intent to supply a Class A and Class B drug.
Both remain in police custody.
Sergeant Georgina Northwood said:
“We know the impact that drug dealing has on our local community especially as it is so closely linked to knife crime.
“Officers have taken a large quantity of drugs off the streets of Nottingham as a result of this warrant including a machete.
“We have also charged two suspects on suspicion of a number of offences.”
