Early morning
The day will begin wet, with rain widespread during the early morning hours. The likelihood of rain is very high around dawn, with heavy cloud cover and persistent showers expected. Temperatures will be around 6°C, feeling cool but not cold. Winds will be light to moderate from the east-south-east at around 8 mph, making conditions feel damp rather than windy.

Midday
Through late morning and into midday, rain will continue at times, though there may be occasional lighter spells. Rain probabilities remain high, generally between 60 and 70 per cent. Temperatures will hold steady at around 8°C. Winds will remain from the east-south-east at 8 to 9 mph, with little change in conditions.

Afternoon
During the afternoon, rain becomes more intermittent, with some drier intervals developing, though showers remain possible. Rain chances gradually ease to around 40 per cent later in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise slightly to around 9°C. Winds will stay light to moderate from the east-south-east, maintaining the unsettled but calmer feel compared with previous days.

Evening
The evening will remain cloudy with further spells of rain possible, particularly earlier in the evening. Rain chances fall gradually from around 70 per cent early on to closer to 50 per cent by late evening. Temperatures will slowly dip from around 8°C to 7°C. Winds will ease slightly from the east-south-east to south-east at 6 to 8 mph, bringing a damp but quieter end to the day.
