Police release image after alleged ‘voyeurism’ incident at ASDA store

Police investigating a suspected incident of voyeurism at a supermarket have released images of a man they would like to speak to.

The incident happened in ASDA, Hyson Green, on the afternoon of Sunday 3 December, when a woman was followed around the shop by a man who appeared to take a picture of her from behind as she bent over to pick up an item.

A report was later made to police and an investigation commenced.

Officers believe the man pictured in this image may be able to help them with their investigation.

He is described as being white with tanned skin, around 40 years old and roughly 5ft 8ins tall. He had short, dark brown hair, wore brown Doc Martin boots and spoke with a Nottingham accent.

PC Declan Towl, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was an upsetting incident for the victim who reported being followed and harassed by a man for around 20 minutes.

“We have identified a person of interest we would like to speak with an would like to hear directly from him or anyone who knows him.

“We have a very good description of him and I confident that somebody will know him.”
