Police share image of man wanted after 23 shoplifting offences in Nottingham

Police are trying to track down this man in connection with a retail crime spree.

Officers have identified Corey Fawsitt as a suspect in 23 offences across Nottingham’s shops.

These include more than 15 shop thefts, two robberies and a multitude of public order offences.

Ten stores across the city have been impacted by the crime series, between 7 December and 4 February.

Officers are trying to trace Fawsitt, who is wanted in connection with the offending.

Police are now appealing for the public’s help to find the 23-year-old, who is of no fixed address.

 

Inspector Paul Ferguson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Due to his living situation, we’ve had great difficulty in being able to locate this individual.

“It’s really important therefore that anyone who knows where Corey Fawsitt is or where he might be staying shares this information with us.

“Likewise, we’d urge him to do the right thing and make himself known to us, as we’d urgently like to speak with him.

“Anyone with information is asked to call the police directly on 101, while Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
