Nottinghamshire Police is advising drivers to take extra care on Nottinghamshire’s roads today due to the icy conditions.
There have been five separate crashes on A610 near Giltbrook earlier this morning, including one car which rolled onto its roof.
One man was taken to hospital. His injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.
The road was closed while the incidents were dealt with.
There are reports of multiple crashes on the A38 near Mansfield due to the icy conditions.
Temporary Chief Inspector Jon Scurr, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We’re urging drivers to please take extra care on the roads today as there are still significant stretches of ice present.
“We would also advise motorists to keep a good distance from other vehicles, reduce their speed, and set off on their journeys with plenty of time.”
